-If you are in the market for the ultimate wireless router, then we believe we have something for you. Hello, my name is Dong Ngo and this is the Netgear N900 wireless dual-band gigabit router model WNDR4500. This router is a big deal just from the imposing look. First of all, it's probably the biggest router on the market. It comes with a base for it works in a vertical position and unlike previous models, this base is not easily detached. You're stuck it. Secondly, it comes with a huge power adaptor for a router. Despite of that, it looks good. On the back here, the router has 4 LAN ports and 1 WAN port. On top here, you can find not one but 2 USB ports. Judging from the blue color here, this 2 are US 3.0. This is the first time a router support this high speed USB standard. The high speed means that when coupled with a hard drive, it can potentially offer network solid performance similar to that of a dedicated net server. The router comes with 2 concurrent wireless network for the 2.4 gigahertz and 5 gigahertz band. Each of these networks is capable of offering up to 450 megabit per second speed. Now, you need a wireless client of the same standard to take advantage of the high speed, but the router works with all existing wireless clients. On the side here, you can find a label that showed the pre-configured network and the encryption key. If you're okay with, all you have to do is plug the router into an internet source such as a cable modem and turn it on and you're good to go or you can use the included Netgear Genie software, although router is web interface to further configure the router. All in all, this seems a very promising router with great specs. To find how it performs and feature [unk] check out the full review at CNET.com.
