>> Hey what's up guys, I'm Brian Tong with CNET here at CES 2008. We're in the Venetian Suites and we're here to check out a hot new product from Neosonik, their Digital Wireless Home Theater and Stereo System. Now check this out, we have their controller over here, it's connected to a Blu-ray player, but we're gonna come over into this living room area. Because we said it's wireless we weren't lying to you. Completely wireless. So, how do they do this? Well, a lot of people have been trying to accomplish wireless audio at its highest fidelity, but it's been like the Holy Grail. No one can do it, but Neosonik decided to do it their own way. So, let's talk about what makes the system unique. Now, from start to finish the signal is digitally processed and that means there are no analog components at all. Now, it runs with a 5-gigahertz band, but this is not Wi-Fi. Let's make that clear. Now, Neosonik develop their own protocol called the AirPower A/V and you'll potentially see this technology in future products that talk to the system. Now, let's talk about how the system performs. Now, the audio is sync throughout the system with every speaker at 6 nanoseconds. That's nearly a thousand times better than any other system out there. So, the audio is really tight. It's basically like its coming through a wire. Now, wireless video running the HD at 1080p, they've tested it and that's been able to still reach the TV 210 feet through 10 walls. How crazy is that. So, you can expect to see the system in Summer of 2008. I can't wait, I mean I came to CES to see some top technology and this is just some amazing stuff. I'm Brian Tong with CNET here at CES 2008 and this has been the Neosonik Wireless Digital Home Theater and Stereo System. ^M00:01:33 [ Music ]
