>> Hi, I'm Kent German, senior editor here at CNET.com. Today, we're taking a first look at the Motorola W385, it's a new phone from Horizon Wireless Service. You probably notice that this phone looks a little bit like the KRZR, only in its form factor. It has the same basic shape, same basic size. It does take a little bit of a different design trek though so it's not quite as stylish. It doesn't have that mirrored front on the, on the front face that you find on the KRZR, but it is covered by slightly rubbery textured cover, makes it feel a little more sturdy, a little bit better feel in the hand, a little heavier. So, likes that. External display is vertical, we're seeing that on a few more phones these days. As you can see, it has the time, the single strength battery life. Here on the top, the camera lens, there is no flash. On this side, we have a volume rocker, we have a speakerphone button with a [inaudible] speed port for the charger. And here on this side, we have a voice-tallying button. Open up the phone, inside, a little disappointed with the internal display. It's a 65,000 color resolution, so not as high as on the KRZR, don't have the navigation array and key pad buttons are sort of like the KRZR, but a little different. They are covered in a little different texture, found them not as slippery, a little bit easier to use, little more [inaudible], which I liked. So overall though, very dependable phone, very reliable, came with great car qualities, still comes with Bluetooth, speakerphone, DJ camera. It just doesn't have the EVDO 3D support. But, if you're looking for a midrange phone, I'd recommend it. I'm Kent German, and this is the Motorola W385. ^M00:01:23 [ Music ]
