>> I'm Nicole Lee, associate editor for CNET.com and this is a first look at the Motorola Rival from Verizon Wireless. As you can see here, it's a pretty slim looking phone here. It is a messaging phone. And that means it slides sideways to reveal a full [inaudible] keyboard here. On the front, there is a rather lackluster 2.2-inch color display. Underneath that you do get the typical navigation array of course as well as the number keypad key. When you press that it will bring up a virtual number keypad. So all of the sudden the display becomes a touch screen. However, the touch screen only applies to the phone dialer. Flip the phone sideways and slide the phone up and you will reveal a full [inaudible] keyboard. The keyboard is pretty spacious. There's also a dedicated text messaging key as well as an emoticon key. Features of the Rival include a 2.0 megapixel camera, a wireless web browser, standard blue tooth, email, instant messaging, EVDO, as well as V Cast Video that let's you stream over the air video and V Cast music that lets you download and purchase music over the air. The Motorola Rival is available for 99 dollars and 99 cents after a two-year service agreement from Verizon Wireless. My name is Nicole Lee, this has been a first look at the Motorola Rival. ^M00:01:16 [ Music ]
