>> I'm Nicole Lee assistant editor of CNET.com and this is the Motorola RAZR 2 V9 for AT&T. This is the AT&T version of the new Motorola RAZR 2. The phone factor is a lot similar to the other RAZR 2s a very nice steel chasse with a hardened glass exterior on top here. There's a massive two inch diagonal external screen here as you can see. It is very colorful and bright. It supports, you know, typical photo caller ID and so forth. On the side here you get a camera button. On the other side you get volume controls and a smart key that locks and unlocks the phone also acts as a shortcut to the music player when the music player is activated. There's also a 2 mega pixel camera lens on top here. The special thing about the external screen is that when the music player is activated the bottom row of the screen becomes three music player control keys. And these keys are of course touch sensitive meaning you can just touch it and you'll play and pause and change tracks and so forth. Open up the phone you get to see a gorgeous 2.2 inch diagonal colorful display here. Underneath the display you get a very attractive keypad. All the keys are very well spaced apart. You get dedicated buttons for the web as well as to the video streaming service. As with all the other RAZRs the keypad's a little bit sort of flush to the surface. One of the most important features of the RAZR 2 V9 is it has HSDPA which is the 3.5G network AT&T has that can support downloads up to 1.8 megabits per second. This means you can stream videos really quickly; download speeds are really fast as well. This model supports AT&T's music portal and AT&T's cellular video which is its streaming video network. So overall we think it's a beautiful functional phone with plenty of features. My name's Nicole Lee and this is the Motorola RAZR 2 V9 for AT&T. [ Music ]

Motorola Razr2 V9 (AT&T) Review

The good: The Motorola Razr2 V9 is a fabulous-looking phone clad in steel and glass. It has HSDPA support plus a 2-megapixel camera, a music player, and good sound quality and battery life.

The bad: The Motorola Razr2 V9 has skinny side buttons and a rather flat keypad. We also wished there were one-push access to the music player plus one for the speakerphone.

The bottom line: The Motorola Razr2 V9 is a great successor to the first Razr. Despite a few quibbles, it has an eye-catching design, solid performance, and an impressive feature set.
