>> I'm Nicole Lee, Assistant Editor for www.cnet.com and this is the Motorola H12 Bluetooth headset. As you can see it's a very compact and stylish design. It has sort of a diamond-cut metal housing and sort of a spun-metal multifunction button on the front here. On top is a power toggle and on the side is the volume rocker. We definitely like having a dedicated power toggle just because it makes it easier to turn on and off to save battery. On the back you have a typical in-ear -- earpiece and a very flexible plastic ear hook here: very comfortable in the ear. It does come with a variety of earbud colors for better fit and it's pretty secure in the ear as well. The H12 comes with what Motorola is calling its "CrystalTalk" technology. It promises noise suppression and adaptive speaker technology so for better sound quality. And even though we did experience this with incoming sound, you know we heard our callers just fine, but the outgoing sound wasn't as good. Our callers reported background hiss and static. So we weren't entirely sold on the sound quality of this headset unfortunately. However it looks pretty good. It also comes with a pretty cool desktop charger. It also comes with a portable charging cradle as well for additional battery life. So overall, the H12 is a very cool looking, stylish, easy to use headset, but we just weren't sold on the call quality. My name is Nicole Lee and this is the Motorola H12 Bluetooth headset. ^M00:01:29 [ Music ]

Motorola H12 Review

The good: The Motorola Pure H12 is a very attractive Bluetooth headset that comes with a portable charging cradle plus a desktop stand. It also has a great comfortable fit.

The bad: The Motorola Pure H12's performance does not match up to its promises--call quality was patchy and unpredictable.

The bottom line: The Motorola Pure H12 is a beautiful and affordable Bluetooth headset, but we wish that it had better performance.
