>> Welcome back to DemoFall 2008. We've been listening to new companies launching technologies all day here in San Diego and we've picked out some of our favorites. Take a look. ^M00:00:17 [ Music ] ^M00:00:19
>> We're here to take a look at iWidgets, this is a social syndication service that takes full episodes of TV programs and serves them into Facebook, MySpace and iGoogle. Now this is Peter from iWidgets and he is here happily to tell me that they have a new deal with CBS. Tell me about that.
>> Thanks, Natali. So, what we've done here is we've taken whole episode of, I guess it's popular programming, such as CSI and NCIS and Young and the Restless and fans can now see the episode right in the fan pages on Facebook. So if you look here this is a Facebook fan page.
>> Right.
>> And where before there wouldn't be much on here and to see an episode you have to click back through the CBS. Now you can see an episode right there.
>> Now for the survey in this ad here, is that you or is that CBS?
>> That is actually CBS serving that ad and it's an interesting business model. The old Widget business model is -- you will try to get the customer, like CBS to pay you when a consumer adds the Widget.
>> Yeah.
>> But they don't make money that way.
>> Right.
>> So now, when the consumer's watching the ad, CBS makes money and we get a small part of it.
>> Well, Rudder is a new financial management tool.
>> It's almost like the next generation in money management software. Traditionally like he said, all money management tools out there have required you to kind of remember to log-in and even if you after you logged in, you have to go through all these analyses and all these efforts to get by charge that didn't really give you the information you needed.
>> Right.
>> So, we've taken a completely different angle on this and then we're coming out with the solutions that we really think that it's going to help people better manage their money.
>> Right.
>> You know, the best part of our Rudder is once you sign up and set up your account, we don't want you to log in anymore. We start delivering the information to your email inbox and we connect up to 2500 banks and we automatically updates your accounts every night and send you the latest information the next morning.
>> Our website is focused on small businesses of at the Demo pre-launch, what we're doing is dressing up as small business people. I'm a painter. My colleague here is a farmer. The site is called Bizequity.com in which you can do is put your address with the name of the company and then it will show you what's your best business is worth based upon publicly available information. We also have Google Maps where you can see your business and how they relate to other businesses in your neighborhood or in your city. And then you can get a profile of your industry, whether the industry is improving or whether it's declining. So you can see there is an opportunity in this industry, so maybe you wanna go into that business or maybe wanna get out of that business. We have a custom evaluation where you can put in information about your business and we can provide a more sophisticated valuation and the report from there and that's bizequity.com. Even though these small businesses are a big part of our country, there not a lot of great resources out there to help them out. So our focus is to make the best site we can to help the small business improve things going forward.
