T-Mobile MyTouch Video Transcript

Hi, I'm Kent German, senior editor here at CNET.com. I'm here at CTIA Fall 2010 to show you the T-Mobile myTouch. Now, this was just announced a few days ago. It is a significant phone in a couple ways. It is one of the first phones that T-Mobile has out with HSPA+ so that is their enhanced 3G network. They say it's 4G but it really just gives 4G-like speeds. It's not a 4G technology so that's important to understand. Unfortunately, this model doesn't turn on so I can't show you the software, but I can tell you a little about what's inside the phone. It does have Android 2.2. It has a front facing camera so you can use that for video chat. You'll be able to use that over Wi-Fi and the cellular network so there's two ways you can use that. Of course, you can use it with another video chat-enabled phone or you can use it with a PC camera as well, so you see the front camera there. On the back, it has a 5-megapixel camera. It does do HD video on the rear camera and then, as I said on the front camera, it will have the video chart feature as well so nice, big screen. Wish so much I could show it to you. Hopefully, we'll get that soon, but for right now, pretty interesting device. Does have a metal back which is nice. It has a nice sturdy feel on the hand. White sort of border around the side and on the front just black around the display. I'm Kent German and this is the T-Moble myTouch.
