>> Hey! I'm Donald Bell, Senior Editor for digital audio and mp3 and so we're taking a first look at the MobiBlu T10 mp3 player. So far, 4 gigabytes for 120 dollars. Also comes with memory expansion slot for mini SD on the bottom of the player here. Mini SD is not to be confused with micro SD or standard SD though. It's so rare that we see mp3 players coming with mini SD as the options. One of main features on the MobiBlu T10, the thing that makes it so attractive, is that it's one of the least expensive mp3 players we've seen that includes a touch-screen navigation system. Its 2.5 inches of viewing area, the little sliver on the touch screen here are actually little quick navigation controls and a record button on the bottom that doesn't really seem to do anything. Navigation on the MobiBlu T10 is actually pretty slow and conky compared to mp3 players half their price to have button navigation instead of the touch screen. I'm trying to use the touch screen navigation on the T10 without the little stylus that comes with it, it's really frustrating. Almost all the menu icons require very precise little double click in order to activate them. It comes with a pretty descent pair of ear-bud headphones and a comfortable little case. If you're actually are excited about getting the T10 if you wanna play videos back on it. That was one of our first disappointments. All videos have to be converted through the included software. Unfortunately, even though the video files that we converted playback fine on our PC before we transfer them over, once we've got them on the T10, the audio soundtrack and videos were out of sink. The good news is that the MobiBlu T10's audio quality is actually not that bad. It supports WMA, mp3, FLAC and APE files. Other things that didn't work very well on the T10, the radio reception was pretty poor. You can't use the radio through the included speaker that's on the T10, so you can't just use this like a little portable FM radio. The voice recorder function on this, may have voice recordings with it, there is a high-pitch mechanical line that was introduced in all the recordings that we made. And there's also games on this which sounds pretty neat until you actually start playing with them and you realize that all the controls require precise little tapping with the stylus pen and weren't exactly fun to play. And only for 120 dollars, the MobiBlu T10 is not a recommended purchase. You may add about dollars more and get something like the Cowon D2 and have a much, much better mp3 player.
