The HP X7000 Wi-Fi Touch Mouse frees up USB ports by pairing through a wireless adapter, but its hypersensitive touch dial and accident-prone design create a frustrating user experience, making it touch to recommend over a classic tactile mouse.

Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse

Microsoft's new Arc Touch Mouse features a travel-friendly design and some clever technical touches to its touch-sensitive scroll tab. Neither of those features make this mouse better than a full sized desktop mouse, but the Arc Touch Mouse is unique enough in its form and in some of its functions that it should appeal to those looking to make a statement with their technology.

Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000

The Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 doesn't leave much room for complaint. Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 (2008) Review

The good: Comfortable shape; accurate laser tracks responsively; rechargeable; "executive" design.

The bad: Notchless scroll dial is hard to press and results in sloppy scrolling; lefties left out of luck.

The bottom line: The Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 isn't cheap, but if you want to go wireless and have an extra $70 lying around, this mouse is certainly an option. If you're going to spend that much, though, we think you'll like Logitech's high-end offering better.
