-What's up guys! This is Antuan Goodwin with cnet.com on the floor at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and I've got behind me 2 brand new Mazda 6's-- one is the sedan and one is the wagon. Now the Mazda 6 is the second vehicle build from the ground up using Mazda's new SKYACTIV technology. They're suite of lightweight efficient engine and all these others things that are supposed to help the vehicle better, fuel economy. It's also the second vehicle today using Mazda's new KODO - Soul of Motion following the CX-5. The big news here is that this vehicle will be available with a 2.2 liter turbo diesel engine that's gonna be available in 147 or 173 horsepower variants. It's be pretty low technology for diesel engine and turbo charging technology as I've just said to get you about 52 miles per gallon when converted helping you get that fuel economy is gonna Mazda's new i-ELOOP. It's a regenerative braking system that uses capacitors instead of batteries. Now, it's not a hybrid. The electricity that's recaptured using those capacitors is gonna into your 12-system doing things like your headlight, to recharge your car's battery. There's also gonna be Mazda's new i-stop, start-stop technology. It's gonna keep this from idling when you're sitting at a red light. Now, the Mazda will hit the market some time next year possibly as a 2014 model. We're probably gonna see the sedan in the United States, but here's hoping for that wagon as well.
