>> Hey everyone I'm Molly Wood and welcome to the CNET Mailbag. Let's get right to your e-mail shall we? Now it seems that we may have pulled a fast one on you during last's CNET Live. Fred writes in "I was watching CNET Live October 25, 2007 and you guys mentioned that Brian was on vacation; when the camera turned over to Cheryl, you see Brian eating his lunch. What's up with that?" Oh really? Yeah you know I think we have the footage right here. Ah hah, there he is. See that actually is Brian Cooley on vacation--he lives here. Okay I can see you don't believe me. In fact Brian was actually tied up for two solid days shooting the videos that go on the TV's in Costco. You've seen those right? They take a lot of time. I don't actually know why Tom said that he was on vacation. Tom just says that and then I take the heat. Thanks a lot Tom. Moving on. Dee Perez 200 and others wrote in about continuing playback problems with CNET TV. Now our engineers have informed me that we rolled out a series of fixes this week that should solve the problem where it just won't play anymore after about a couple of videos and then an ad; so fingers crossed let me know if it keeps happening. And speaking of performance issues, R says "I was watching unbearably CNET TV on Safari on my Mac as it sputtered playback, I launched Firefox and playback was a lot smoother less noticeable sputtering. Hope you can address Safari's bad playback. Thanks." Well R, I think you've already solved this little problem--I mean use Firefox. It's like a real browser. Oh fine, just kidding. Tough crowd today. I sent a note to our guys and they are looking in to it. Sheez, you guys are so sensitive. And finally, Chris JF wrote in with a little grammar ramped "Dear Mailbag: Your headline writers at CNET are the suck. Make money off Facebook, what the...you're supposed to be a news agency. The grammar in the headline is atrocious, atrocious I told yous. One can make money for on Facebook, not off Facebook." Geez even I know when to write from not off and I'm a math loving engineer. Take home lesson for the day--watch your grammar CNET headline writers aka nincompoops. I know that's kind of hater mail but I sort of love it. I love Chris Daya. Grammar nerds--unite. Okay that's it for this week's edition of CNET Mailbag. Keep your feedback coming; Mailbag at cnet.com or send me a postcard, 235 Second Street, San Francisco, California 94105. See ya next time. ^M00:02:33 [ Music ] ^M00:02:36
