Logitech G15 Keyboard Video Transcript
>> Hi I'm Rich Brown, senior editor for CNET dot com. Here I'm gonna take a look at the Logitech G15 keyboard. This is actually a redesigned model of a product with the exact same name. This one came out last year though, it's a lot cleaner than the original version; that one came out in 2005 but as you can see it's the basic idea, it's a high end gaming keyboard, there's an LCD screen at the top that has a programmable software interface that you can download all kinds of software for it to show custom info from various games; War Craft, Call of Duty, that kind of stuff. On the side here there's a series of buttons for macros so you can program your own sort of automated actions in a game. There's 6 buttons right here but there's actually 3 different settings so you can have a total of 18 buttons if you cycle through. Now like a lot of other gaming keyboards, the keys in this model actually light up. Logitech has 3 different settings; you can turn it off, you can raise it up a little bit, you can have it all the way lit. Kind of perfect for playing in a darkened gaming room and you can actually see the keys because the light is bright enough. Finally just like the original model there's one little feature in here that we really love. There's a button you can press that disables the windows button on your keyboard. That means you won't bump out to the operating system from the game if you accidentally hit that windows button. So keep in mind this is considered a high end gaming keyboard and that means it's a little bit more expensive. Still, we think it's worth it, there's a lot of cool functionality here, and it actually looks pretty good too. So I'm Rich Brown and this is Logitech G15 gaming keyboard. [ music ]

Although it's not our favorite keyboard and mouse combination, the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 set earns our recommendation for its comfortable "Incurve" key design, quick scrolling mouse, and impressive battery life. Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Pro
Although you don't get a price break by buying the package instead of the individual devices, we still consider this one of the best mouse-and-keyboard packages on the market. It combines an even better version of our favorite mouse and an equally adept keyboard at a very reasonable price.

The Logitech Wireless Keyboard K350 stands out for its comfortable ergonomic touches, an easy learning curve, affordable price, and unique Unifying connection. We have minor issues with the placement of the media controls, but heavy typists will appreciate what Logitech has to offer.
Logitech has met and surpassed Microsoft's recent mouse technology innovations by introducing the most versatile mouse sensor on the market in its new Performance Mouse MX. But even if you don't have a glass table crying out to become a workspace, this high-end input device has enough features and cushy design to make it a justifiable indulgence for anyone who takes their cursor control seriously.
The keys on the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard are comfortable to use and emit a satisfying click, but it lacks convenient features we've come to expect from a PC keyboard. Nevertheless, we think this Logitech is a practical, affordable, and convenient keyboard that manages to look sexy at the same time.

Logitech G15 Keyboard (Revision 2) Review
The good: Refined design takes up less space than the original but keeps most of the same features; strong macro programming capability; broader support for homebrew LCD apps; more responsive-feeling keys; orange LED comes through better in the dark.
The bad: Expensive; still no USB 2.0 ports.
The bottom line: Logitech's revised version of its already distinctive G15 gaming keyboard adds polish and trims some of the fat. Throw in the now-mature user community that churns out lots of homebrew apps for the built-in LCD screen, and we'd recommend this keyboard to any PC gamer as a unique, useful, and customizable input device.
