Hi. I'm Scott Stein. How intimate do you get with your iPad keyboard case? I mean, that because the Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio suggests that the ability to have a water repellent keyboard case is a good thing. I don't spend a lot of time with beverages around when I'm typing. I like to keep that stuff separate. But if you do happen to be in a situation where you think [unk] coffee shop where you might spill stuff on your iPad. Well, then perhaps that will add to the value proposition here. But the FabricSkin Keyboard Folio is expensive. It's $150. Yeah-- $150 for this admittedly attractive keyboard case. It comes in a variety of bright colors. It is a selection of fabrics on the back and a soft micro fibery-like covering on the keyboard in the front, which again is totally sealed. So in case you happened to spill on, you could just wipe it right up. And we didn't do a lot of fluid testing here. But the advantage is here, go beyond that. You also have a magnetic auto-connection with the side here that snaps into place and also automatically turns on the keyboard. The keyboard feels great, although like recent Logitech keyboards, some of the keys are compressed. If you're a keyboard nerd, or you really pay attention to the stuff, you can see that the capslock and A key combined. The shift key's compress, the tab and Q were combined. It's not a big deal. In fact, when you start typing faster on this after a while, it's fine. It's not as compressed as iPad mini keyboards are. It does feel like a tank and it feels comfortable and heavy. When you're looking at 2.7 pounds with this combine, which is like the way of a MacBook era ultrabook practically. So that's the problem. You're carrying on a laptop weight thing. I still prefer something slimmer, maybe like the Logitech Ultra thin keyboard cover. But if you're looking for one of the most durable all-around protective and liquid repellant keyboard cases, then the FabricSkin keyboard Folio could be worth it if you wanna shot a $150. I'm Scott Stein and that's a quick look at the FabricSkin Keyboard Folio.
$150 is a lot to pay for a keyboard case. The Fabricskin, however, has a keyboard that's made to withstand getting a bit messy, and feels durable, too.
Would a little night typing make your iPad writing sessions better? Zagg's keyboard case is a solid package.
No need for extra cables: Logitech's clever iPad case charges itself, and even automatically turns itself on.
Does a keyboard case turn the iPad into a Netbook-killer, or is it added baggage?
The Logitech Keyboard Case for the iPad 2 does exactly what it promises, offering a highly portable Bluetooth keyboard for use with an iPad; however, it's a better keyboard than it is a case.
Priced to compete with Apple's Bluetooth keyboard, the Logitech Tablet Keyboard for iPad is a similarly-shaped, well-functioning writing tool with a twist: its case doubles as an iPad stand.
Logitech's unique Fold-Up Keyboard for iPad 2 seems perfect for an executive desk, turning an iPad into a miniworkstation with eye-opening elegance. It's a shame the keyboard doesn't work as magnificently.
You'll pay for the Logitech K810 keyboard, but it's also the most versatile product in its class.
The Logitech doubles as both a case and bluetooth keyboard for the Samsung Galaxy TabPro and NotePro
The Wireless M505 Mouse is a good choice for anyone using Logitech's Unifying USB transceiver (which also works with its keyboards), but it's priced a bit high considering its limited button layout.
Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio for iPad (Black) Review
The good: The durable-feeling Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio has a water-resistant keyboard, and automatically connects and disconnects from Bluetooth when magnetically snapped into position.
The bad: Bulkier, heavier, and more expensive than the competition.
The bottom line: For a durable case with a very good keyboard that feels like it can take a beating, the FabricSkin is your bet. But it's a pricey accessory for a year-old iPad.
