Meebo has had a Facebook chat capability -- again. Meebo is a web-based instant messenger and back in December it launched the Facebook chat capability. Facebook was having none of it and ordered it shut down citing security reasons. Since then Meebo has worked with Facebook to integrate its Facebook Connect login service and now it looks like chat is back. Currently users can send messages to each other and read status updates, but in the future the company promises to be able to check profile data and update status. CBS, our parent network launched TV classics on Friday for all you trekkies out there. That means all three seasons of the original Star Trek series is available for streaming online. The programs are ad supported, so you have to sit through a short ad during breaks, but I think it's worth it considering the service will offer MacGyver, Hawaii Five-0, The Twilight Zone, my favorite, Family Ties and plenty of other oldies, but goodies. To see for your self go to CBS.com slash classic. Dial-up is now as cheap as a quarter a day. People PC launched connect for Less and it is as super cheap dial-up plan that cost $7.95 per month. It comes with free customer support and that's pretty much it. It's dial-up, you get what you pay for. Baseball fans, this one is for us. The New York Times is reporting that Major League Baseball is launching a high-definition video player this season. It won't be free and it won't include all games streamed live unfortunately. The MLB's rules about blackouts are too iron-clad for that to happen -- yet. But it will be a subscription model. You can pay $110 for the entire season, but you won't be able to watch games that are on TV or blacked-out in your area, which is confusing, and antiquated and lame. But you will soon be able to stream radio broadcast of the game to your BlackBerry and iPhone. The application will cost $10. So if you weren't already excited about baseball season, go ahead and get excited now -- Go Giants! Usually I'm excited about new Gmail features, but the multiple inbox feature that they added last Friday is an exception. I find it weird and perplexing. It isn't really a multiple inbox and that you can add multiple e-mail accounts, although you can always forward other e-mail accounts to your Gmail. It's a split screen that let's you view the contents of various folders in one view. So if you have a folder for family and another folder for all your lady lovers, you can view those folders in just one go. You activate this is the Labs Tab, but I got to admit I had it open for just one day and could not get used to it. See for yourself and let me know what you think loaded@cnet.com. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has confirmed that he is joining the cast of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. The famed inventor of the original Apple I and Apple II computers slips on his dancing shoes along with Lil' Kim, Denise Richards and others. Dancing definitely is not the first thing that comes to mind when we think of Woz, as he is cheerfully known in the tech community.
