>> I'm Nicole Lee, Assistant Editor for CNET.com and this is the LG VX-5400 from Verizon Wireless. It is a pretty basic camera phone for Verizon. As you can see, there's a compact shape. Open it up and you get a pretty good looking screen: nothing too spectacular but it's pretty good for what it is. And on the bottom here you get a dedicated speaker phone key, and a typical soft key, talk and end keys, and a very nice and well spaced keypad as well. So overall it is a pretty basic phone from Verizon. You do get the basic VGA camera phone as I mentioned. It has a wireless web browser, has the typical text and multi media messaging, it's compatible with VZ Navigator which is Verizon's GPS navigation system. It also has Bluetooth as well. But other than that you know, there's not much else to it, but it is really affordable at only $29.99 after a 2 year service contract. My name is Nicole Lee. The bad: The LG VX5400 has disappointing photo quality.
The bottom line: Though it is a basic camera phone, the LG VX5400's well-designed keypad and great performance makes it a good choice for those who don't need a cell phone with a lot of features.
