>> I'm Nicole Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is the LG Shine CU720 from AT&T. It is the North American version of the LG Shine KE970 from earlier this year. As you can see, it has the same, almost the same form factor a very shiny mirrored finish display. It has a beautiful 2.25-inch display right here. Underneath the display is a navigation joystick, which is a little different from the LG Shine KE970, which is a scroll bar instead. It has the two soft keys here that if you slide the phone open, you get the very flat Razr-like keypad with the talk and 9-keys right underneath the slider. On this side you get the volume controls, the multitasking key, and a camera shortcut key right here. On the other side you get a microSD card and a charger/headset jack. We didn't really like the key bells, it's kind of crowded, the keys are pretty small, and hard to press sometimes. We also didn't like the navigator joystick. It feels almost too sensitive to our types, like a little [inaudible] something that we didn't really want. The LG Shine CU720 has a lot more features than the original Shine ever did. Yes, 3G support meaning it supports AT&T's HSDPA network. It has access to AT&T's Cellular Video, which is streaming video. It also has AT&T's Mobile Music in here, so you can just stream and download music. It also supports AT&T's Video Share that lets you stream live one-way video phone calls as well. So, overall it's a beautiful sturdy phone of a mirrored finish display that has a 2 megapixel camera, as well as does 3G support. Despite a few minor design quibbles, we actually really like this phone. My name is Nicole Lee, this has been the LG Shine CU720 from AT&T. ^M00:01:48 [ Music ]

LG CU720 Shine - silver (AT&T) Review
The good: The LG Shine CU720 is a very attractive slider handset with 3G support, a nice array of multimedia features, and good call quality.
The bad: The LG Shine CU720 has a tiny and very sensitive navigation joystick, plus a flat and crowded keypad.
The bottom line: Though we had a few quibbles with the phone's design, overall we were pleased with the LG Shine CU720's impressive style and feature set.
