LG PK 950 Series Video Transcript
>> Brian Tong here at CES 2010 and we are here with the LG PK950 Plasma television set. And this guy up here is the big 60-incher and what makes it unique, first of all, this is an edge-to-edge glass display. So, a lot of TVs you run your fingers against the edge you will feel the bezel here. You run it across the entire front service you don't feel a thing. Now, the contrast ratio is going to be five million to one, so you are going to really get some true deep blacks. This display is also Wi-Fi enabled, so you are going to have access to all of the NetCast services, so we are talking about video streaming from Voodoo, Cinema Now, and Netflix 2.0. And there is also a variety of other applications like Skype. You also have Picasa and Yahoo Widgets. You will need to get a webcam to use Skype, but this TV is ready to do that. Another unique feature is the remote with the PK950 and the LE9500 series. I like to describe it as like a Wiimote remote for your TV from LG, they call it the Magic UI. So, it is like a wand, it has motion detection, all I have to do is press this enter button and my panels will show up. If I want to change my channels, I have a layout of all the channels, I just move the wand around, select the one that I want and there you go. There is no pricing set for these displays, but they will be available sometime in spring in 2010, but here's your first look at the LG PK950 series. I'm Brian Tong from CES 2010. ^M00:01:18 [ Music ]
