LG GS170 (T-Mobile) Video Transcript
I'm Nicole Lee, senior associate editor for CNET.com and this is a first look at the LG GS170 for T-Mobile. It is a very basic entry-level clamshell. It's a VGA camera phone for T-Mobile. On the front here is a 1-inch external display. Above that is a camera lens. Open the phone and you'll get a 1.8-inch color display. It's quite colorful as you can see here, despite the low resolution. Underneath that, you do get the navigation array consisting of two soft keys, a square D-pad, the messaging shortcut as well as the camera shortcut. Underneath that, you do get the number keypad. It's quite roomy as you can see here with large keys as well. Features of the phone are pretty basic. You do get text and multimedia messaging as well as Bluetooth but there's no stereo Bluetooth. Also, the camera is only a VGA camera and there's no video recorder. The LG GS170 is free with a two-year service agreement with T-Mobile. I'm Nicole Lee, this has been the first look at the LG GS170.

LG GS170 - red (T-Mobile) Review
The good: The LG GS170 has a compact and slim design, and the call quality is very good. It's also very affordable.
The bad: The LG GS170 has no real music player, and photo quality is poor.
The bottom line: The LG GS170 doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it works as a good and affordable entry-level phone for T-Mobile.
