>> I'm Nicole Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is a First Look at the LG enV Touch from Verizon Wireless. The LG enV Touch is the successor to the very popular LG Voyager. It has a full touchscreen interface on the front here and it opens up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard for messaging. On the front is a very generous 3-inch touchscreen display with only three physical keys underneath: the Send, Clear, and End/Power keys. The touchscreen is nice and responsive, plus you can adjust the touch sensitivity if you want as well. On the bottom row of the home screen here are five shortcut icons that lead to the message inbox, the dial pad, the main menu, the phonebook, and the Favorites page, where you can list your favorite contacts or group from your phone book. On the right of the display here is a small arrow when tapped you'll open up a list of application shortcuts and media files that you can drag and drop to your home screen. You can also add more focus by pressing the Add button. Flip the phone open and you'll find a beautiful 3-inch internal display plus a full QWERTY keyboard. There's a dedicated Favorites button that leads to a page where you can list up to 10 contacts or groups as favorites. There's also a dedicated text messaging key and next to the QWERTY arrangement is a square navigation toggle, a clear key, a speaker phone key and the send and end power keys here. You can also see something called a QWERTY shortcut, which lets you initiate either a contacts search, a new text message, or a new note, simply by pressing any key on the QWERTY keyboard. As with the Voyager the enV Touch is brimming with features. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera and camcorder with autofocus, flash and an image editor, plus Panorama Mode, a Facial Makeover mode and a Smile Detector as well. You also get a music player, stereo Bluetooth and EV-DO Rev. A, which is one of the fastest 3G speeds out there. You also get access to Verizon's web services like V Cast Music and V Cast Video that lets you stream video clips over the air as well. In sum, we think that LG enV Touch is a beautiful device that will win the hearts and minds of LG Voyager lovers, as well as messaging fans with this beautiful touchscreen interface, easy to use keyboards and upgraded features.
