>> I'm Nicole Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is the LG Chocolate 3 from Verizon Wireless. As the name suggest this is the third iteration of the iconic candy bar phone from Verizon Wireless, but as you can see it is actually a flip phone. And on the front here, you do get a very colorful external display, as well as a mechanical scroll wheel, which is the identifying characteristic of all Chocolate phones. As you can see, this was a very reflective mirror-like finish. It's very prone to fingerprint smudges. On this side, you do get a volume rocker, a dedicated voice command key, a USB charging jack, as well as a 3.5 mm headset jack, which is a very welcome feature for a music phone like this. A nice feature of this external screen is that you can actually access a limited array of menu options as you can see here. You can use the mechanical scroll wheel to go through this option, like the camera, the calendar, the messaging inbox, the music player interface, as well as the My Pictures folder. This way you can sort of scroll through your recent messages, or scroll through your day's event without ever opening the phone. Flip open your phone and you get a very nice 2.2-inch 262,000 color display here. It's very nice and vibrant. Images just pop from the screen here. On the bottom you get the typical navigation array, a dedicated camera key, as well as the typical Send, End and Clear keys. The keypad is pretty flat. They're kind of slippery feeling. It's kind of hard to dial and text by feel, but it's okay, as far as flip phones go. The LG Chocolate 3 is definitely a music-focused phone. It is one of the star phones from Verizon Wireless that has the V Cast Music with Rhapsody service meaning you can download songs and purchase them on the site directly to the phone. Other music player functions include a built-in FM transmitter, as well as the aforementioned 3.5-mm headset jack and of course it has a stereo Bluetooth. Other features of the phone is that it has EV-DO, it streams V Cast video directly to it. It also has a 2.0-megapixel camera with the camcorder. It also supports Verizon's VZ Navigator GPS location service. And it's overall a very fast phone with very good multimedia features. The LG Chocolate 3 is available for Verizon Wireless for $130 with a two-year service agreement. My name is Nicole Lee, this has been the LG Chocolate 3 from Verizon Wireless.
