LG 52SX4D Review

Editors' rating

The good: Accurate color decoding; includes TV Guide EPG; understated all-black styling; excellent aspect-ratio selection; lots of inputs, including two HDMI.

The bad: Soft image via both component and HDMI inputs; video processing lacks 2:3 pull-down; black levels not as deep as other DLPs'; TV Guide may not work with all cable systems.

The bottom line: Despite a snazzy look and an excellent feature set, this 52-inch LG doesn't perform as well as we'd expect from a DLP.
