Hey I'm Donald Bell. I'm here with the first look of the Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet, this is due out in August, it's running in Honeycomb, so this is Android 3.1 and you're gonna notice that this is a pretty high grade tablet, see this really good, nice and sturdy, they're including a set of tactile controls on the bottom, even though it's gonna be the standard Honeycomb Navigation Controls along on the screen, you also getting A mini HDMI output, USB Connection, Headphone jack, your accessory port, you got SD Card Slot and I think there's gonna be an optional support here that you can configure for a SIM Card Support and on the other side here, you got a full size USB port which can be compatible with keyboard and also mice. Here this is really special, they're including the intReg style pen, this is a really cool pen, we seen this on the HTC Flyer or the HTC Evo View and Now Lenovo is gonna have it here with the Thinkpad tablet as well and this is gonna bring pen support for the notes app or any other apps that might enable you to sign documents or doodle on pictures and markup different your books or whatever text you want and then send that out to people. Another thing that Lenovo has done here on top of Android 3.1 is that they've added this main widget here, which is gonna hold your 4 main go to apps, presumably it's gonna be business Focus, you had your calendar email, document editings for the documents to go, suite of applications for Word Doc or Excel or Powerpoint, those kinds of presentation documents. Also here is a notes app that they built specifically for the use with the pen, so that you can do handwritten notes that can convert those to text on the fly. Lots of cool stuff here, it's gonna be integrated with the pen. So that's the Thinkpad from Lenovo. Again we don't have pricing yet on this, we do know that's gonna out in August, it's an Android 3.1 Honeycomb Tablet and we're excited to see this. We're CNET.com and I'm Donald Bell.

The good: The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet (upgradeable to Android 4.0) has several business-oriented features that should bring a smile to the IT crowd, along with digital pen support and a beautiful screen.
The bad: The tablet is relatively thick and heavy, with unnecessary navigation buttons and uninspired Android interface optimizations.
The bottom line: If your IT department could design a tablet, the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet would be it.
