>> Hi, I'm Michelle Thatcher for CNET.com here in Las Vegas at CES 2008. and I have in front of me the Lenovo IdeaPad U110. Now most of you probably know Lenovo as the company that bought the ThinkPad brand from IBM, and this is actually the first consumer laptop that Lenovo has introduced here at the show. The little ThinkPad is quite a different design from the black boxes we're used to seeing from Lenovo. We've got an eleven point one inch screen, a really nice size, and actually a very comfortable keyboard. It's a little bit compact, but very easy to type on. You'll notice it's very glossy and shiny, and check this out. My favorite part, the red lid which has this really intricate etched design on the cover, which is completely appealing. Now that design element continues on the bottom even, where you see around the vents. The vents are specially carved, and there's additional etching on the bottom as well. Now inside of this laptop you've got an ultra low voltage core two duo processor, and a solid state hard drive, which is gonna make it a little bit easier to boot up faster, and extend your battery life. So I'm really thrilled to see that Lenova heading in this direction. It's a beautiful machine, and one of my favorites frankly at the show.
