>> All right guys, Brian Tong here at CES 2009 with the first look at a camera that I'm super excited about. This is the Kodak Z980. Now, it's a 12-megapixel camera. It has a 24X wide-angle lens with image stabilization. Another thing is it's extremely fast at f two eight. Now one thing with DSLR owners is that the lens in extremely heavy. This camera itself weighs less than the lens. Now, some other really cool features is the fact that it also has a vertical shutter that is part of the camera. So you're used to shooting pictures horizontally. Kodak says about 40 percent of pictures taken are actually vertical, and this camera has it. You also have this kind of shoe accessory for a handle that makes it really easy and ergonomic, really great to hold. The thing is that this comes in the package. It's not a separate accessory like you'll find in most cameras. Another technology in here is Kodak's Smart Capture, and what that really means for you is better, brighter, and better looking pictures that are built in here. So it's another thing where Kodak really takes its experience in the industry and pops it into the camera. On top of here, you'll see a hot shoe accessory. You can use this for accessories like this flash, which is 149. And overall, the Z980 looks to be one of the top cameras coming out for this year.
