>> Hi I'm Will Greenwald, assistant editor at CNET.com and this is the Kodak Easy Share V803. This is a very stylish snapshot camera. 8 mega pixels, 3X optical zoom lens, nice and sort of round, pretty, bright and it comes in several different colors so you can coordinate. Unfortunately beyond that, it's pretty much a nondescript snapshot camera. 8 mega pixels, 3X zoom, it has a nice handful of different scene modes, movie, nighttime, parties, that type of thing. It's pretty simple to use and is appealing if you don't want to deal with a whole lot of different settings. But it's just not that different from most other 7 and 8 mega pixel snapshot cameras. You turn it on, you press the button, and shoot. However if you just want a nice stylish direct digital camera, not a lot of bells and whistles, but pretty and being able to choose your own color, this could be a pretty good choice. I'm Will Greenwald and this is the Kodak Easy Share V803 digital camera. [ Music ]

Kodak EasyShare V803 (Silver) Review

The good: Comes in several different colors.

The bad: Awkward, unresponsive controls; terrible noise; mediocre performance.

The bottom line: Unless you absolutely need a camera in your favorite color, give this one a pass.
