>> Hey guys, Brian Tong here with CNET.com at South by Southwest Interactive and we're gonna check out a panel called "Kill your mouse." We're gonna be talking about motion and the computing and how this combination is breeding a whole new life into the industry and one of the successful examples is Guitar Hero.

>> We're really focused on -- how do you simplify that interface, that physical interface that that person is gonna deal with, so that it becomes very simple, you know exactly what it is, right. If you see somebody standing therewith the guitar in their hand, you know exactly what they're trying to do. You know it's a game that, you know, it's not -- it's not a real guitar, but you know what they're trying to do and it becomes very, very intuitive.

>> And where might we see this new technology in the future.

>> Particularly devices that we use when we're mobile because it's near suicidal to try to type in a car. Although, I've seen people do it, and I might have done it once myself. So, I think that we're getting to different interfaces that allow people to multi-task more efficiently and to compute with their mobile more efficiently.

>> This is not gonna be called the computer at all. I mean, it's gonna be called the microwave oven, it's gonna be called your doorknob. It's gonna be called your alarm clock. It's gonna have computing in it, it's gonna be network enabled, it's gonna have a camera and it's gonna watch you. And then the question is what happens with all these things.

>> And the flurry of all these new devices will change how we interact with them in the future. For CNET.com, I'm Brian Tong. ^M00:01:20 [ Music ]
