Kia GT concept Video
Kia GT concept Video Transcript
-Let's face it. Kia doesn't make any ugly cars anymore. It did for a long time, but they've cleaned the house. Head designer, Peter Schreyer, comes over from Audi and he blew things up. You've got this all hot-looking car. You've got the Optima, the much more handsome sister of the Sonata in the US and many other models, but the one that really shows they have turned a big corner is this new concept called the GT. Check this out. This is a big-appearing car. It's not a huge car, but it does appear to be massive and have great presence as you can see. And there's a usual designer language, but how it looks like it's moving 100 miles an hour and standing still, they always say that. But notice how it's taking a little bit of a page out of Jaguar XK or XF. There's a little bit of Aston Martin. There's 4-door coupe out of Panamera. You've got a lot of upscale tones and upscale structures in this car. And while I'm starting to sound like a car design copywriter, no one beats their copywriter. Check this out. Pure excellence, a lazy day by the sea, the smell of black coffee, the feel of a luxurious leather briefcase, the ticking of a precision watch. That's not the key a few years ago.
