Joke all you want about wolves starting chickens when it comes to hiring -- Russian software firm to protect your computer. The fact of the matter is is that Kaspersky is one of the best security suites around the June 2013 version. Creates a virtual force -- around your financial transactions and it includes a new exploit prevention tool I'm Seth Rosen. For CNET and today we're taking a first look at Kaspersky Internet security 2050. There's basically two major new features to talk about. First is the automatic exploit prevention engine which uses the AS LR technology found an Android IOS and windows eight. To prevent unknown security holes from being exploited. The engine runs in the background silently. And it's available in both the high -- Kaspersky Internet security. And be lower priced Kaspersky antivirus. The other major new feature is safe money. But it's only in the more expensive version. Safe money is a combination of sand box and browser add on that automatically detects when you visit your bank online. And opens the site in a sandbox new browsing window. This hands free approach is excellent because you don't have to change any of your browsing habits simply go to your bank's web site. And it opens. Other minor but notable improvements in -- 2013 suites include expanding the range of the physical keyboard security feature. An installer that removes conflicting security suites and malware during installation. And better laptop battery management. Kaspersky -- system performance benchmarks left room to be improved. And honestly we'd like to see a smaller footprint. The new Kaspersky is worth checking out for the -- money into alone but while the trial is free and when your license retails for around eighty bucks.
