The good: Charges the iPod, whether powered on or off; stylish; small footprint; dedicated volume controls; includes stereo minijack and cable for use with any audio device; acts as a dock for computer syncing; rich and bright sound for small speakers.
The bad: No battery power option--therefore, not truly portable; no remote control.
The bottom line: JBL's On Stage iPod speakers provide a great way to enjoy tunes at home by yourself or with a few friends.
