Hi this is Brian -- for cnet.com and today we're taking a first look at the Java -- you -- This 149. Dollar device is essentially a combo package that -- the company's supreme Bluetooth headset. With its chopper link 360 Bluetooth adapter for PC connectivity. With the supreme you see you'll not only be able to make hands free calls with their mobile handset. But also conduct work phone calls if your company uses a modern IP based software telephone system. The handset also -- strong voice command features and dual -- to actively cancel out background noise. Inside the box is a -- -- Bluetooth headset identical to the one found in the -- opera supreme. It uses a behind -- ear design that can be tricky to slip on especially for eyeglass wearers like myself. Once securely -- however it's light zero point 63 ounce -- is very comfortable and after a few moments you'll hardly notice it's there. The headsets large size with the microphone -- extended is hard to ignore though. On the front -- -- device is its call and button while the edge closest to your ear houses to volume buttons. In the middle of the boom -- since the voice command button to prompt the headset to carry out commands you speak. The most interesting of the -- supreme use these features is its ability to connect PCs and mobile phones simultaneously. So with the device to be able to answer office and solar calls hands free without having to swap between desktop phones and yourself. You can also use the supreme UC to conduct Skype calls -- truly work remotely. Chatting over your office line if your company has a modern IP based offer telephone system. The good: The Jabra Supreme UC powerfully merges corporate and cellular voice communication. Its noise cancellation and voice command features are top-notch.
The bad: At $149, the Jabra Supreme UC is pricey compared with other headsets with similar features, and is large when its mic boom is unfurled. The device lacks Mac support.
The bottom line: The Jabra Supreme UC isn't cheap, but it delivers excellent performance and a great way to chat hands-free over cellular and PC telephone systems.
