>> [ music ] ^m00:00:04 I've only been developing on the iPhone in my spare time, but the SDK is so easy to use I've been playing pretty cool which I'd like to share with you today. The app's called Band, it's a collection of virtual instruments that enables anyone regardless of musical ability, to go beyond to just listening to music on the iPhone to actually creating music themselves from scratch. So let's take a look at some of the instruments that band has to offer, and first of all we have a 2 octave piano. ^m00:00:29 [ piano music ] ^m00:00:35 [ laughter ] [ applause ] ^m00:00:47 We also have an instrument called funky drummer that let's you mix up drum beats. ^m00:00:49 [ drumming ] ^m00:00:57 The twelve bar blues instrument contains all the elements you need to play the blues in one simple interface. ^m00:01:05 [ music ] ^m00:01:21 [ applause ] ^m00:01:29 And finally if you're back in tracks we have a bass guitar. ^m00:01:32 [ music ] ^m00:01:39 [ applause ] ^m00:01:46 We've only had time to show you a fraction of what Band can do today, all these instruments involved can be recorded, over dubbed, mixed together into a song, or of course you could always just get together with your friends for a jam and maybe one day start your own band.
