>> [ music ] ^m00:00:04 What's up guys, Brian Tong here with CNET dot com in front of the flag ship Apple store in San Francisco, and you can see behind me there's no line so we're gonna ask people what they think about the new iPhone 3G. Were you disappointed that the new one was not released today?

>> Yeah, kind of a bummer especially because on Apple dot com, you got to store dot Apple dot com, it says go to the store because we have iPhones in stock.

>> I'm happy with the new changes in the iPhone, I'm just disappointed I can't get it today.

>> I sold mine last week so I could get it. I thought it was coming out this week so.

>> You're kind of bummed that you couldn't get your hands on one?

>> Yeah because I went back to an old Nokia, kind of Blackberry thing, so now I gotta stick with that till July 11 I guess. Going back from iPhone to it, it's really bad.

>> I am disappointed that I could not get it on the phone today but I'll wait. I've been checking the blogs daily.

>> We were ready to go for it today. We don't have the first generation so we were ready for the new one.

>> I've been waiting for the new version to come out by holding off on the first one and so we're ready to buy it, we came to the store, but it wasn't there.

>> On a scale of 1 to 10 how bummed are you guys?

>> Like 7, I really wanted to get it now you know?

>> I was hoping to at least see the iPhone, that would have been nice. Other than that just kind of be with the geeks and infiltrate, if you like.

>> I'm stoked that for once I'm gonna be the first guy to get it and not wait 8 months until everyone has it and so that's my plan; July 11th I'm going to be buying it.

>> A lot of times though people that want to get it when it first comes out, they're going to have to wait in line.

>> I'll wait 3 days later and then buy it.

>> Now are you willing to wait in line for him?

>> I will wait for anything for him. ^m00:01:35 [ music ] ^m00:01:37

>> Do you think you'll be able to wait till July to get your hands on this?

>> Yeah, definitely. [ laughter] I'll be looking at all their websites and all the blogs everyday till then.

>> I waited this long so yeah.

>> Yeah, we'll just have to wait.

>> I don't know July 11th with this old Nokia phone, it's gonna be really difficult.

>> I'll probably not be patient but I'm gonna have to, so yeah, unless I can infiltrate a little bit more.

>> Unfortunately I guess you have to. I don't know why it's taking so long though! I don't understand that, like hurry up you know?

>> So there's no iPhone 3G in the store and everybody was bummed. I'm Brian Tong with CNET dot com and I can guarantee you on July 11 everybody will be wrapped around that store. [ music ]
