IoSafe's disaster-proof dual-bay NAS server Video Transcript

Hey guys, Dong Ngo here and today I'm telling you, I'm tired. There are many reason but the most obvious one is this thing right here. It's heavy, 30 pounds. This is the first dual-bay, disaster-proof networks or device for IoSafe. It's called N2. Now the N2 can handle extreme heat up to 1550 degrees Fahrenheit just so that you know how hard that is. The coffee you drink every day at most is about 200 degrees. This thing here can swim in that hot liquid for hours, no problem. And speaking of swimming, you can also handle water submersion for up to 10 feet depth in 3 days. As I mentioned earlier, this is a dual-bay storage device. How do we know that? Well, this is another good thing about the N2, a first storage device that also allows you to change its internal drive. On the front here, you see the two tamper- proof screw that cannot be undone with the right tool. But in the case of N2, his head driver right here is included. Now the first door is out and if you can see it looks just like that of a vault. This is the door that protect the internal drive from extreme heat. It's actually very heavy. Under inside here, you see there's another door that keep the internal drive from water and, viola! Again it goes-- And now as you can see on the inside, there are 1 and 2 internal drive. The [unk] can support any standard SAT hard drive, be it a desktop drive like this one or a later drive like this one. And that means, the N2 for now can offer up to 8 terrabytes of storage or 4 terrabytes of protected storage space. And that makes it the first device that can protect your information against disaster and also mechanical failure of the hard drive. And in the extreme case that it doesn't, I would was so obsess that it will [unk] you to get your data back. So what's the catch? Well, the N2 here cost about $600 with no storage included about twice the price of the DS 213. But hey, if you're looking for something that really, really protect your data no matter what, it is the best and the only choice. And of course the fact that it's shock proof is an obvious bonus. That's it. Make sure you check out the full review of cnet.com. Once again, my name is Dong Ngo and this has been the first look at the first disaster-proof dual bay network storage server, the N2 from IoSafe.

IoSafe N2 Review

The good: The IoSafe N2 offers real data protection against disaster and mechanical drive failure while offering fast performance and an excellent set of features.

The bad: The N2's storage can't be dynamically scaled up to more than two internal drives. It comes with limited peripheral options and is slightly expensive.

The bottom line: The IoSafe N2 is a unique device that combines robust network storage with disaster-proof protection, and delivers on both.
