Infiniti unveils the all-new Q50 Video Transcript

What's up, guys? We're here on the floor at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. I'm Antuan Goodwin and we're standing in front of the new Infiniti Q50. now, we knew that this G Sedan replacement would debut with a 3.7 liter V6 engine. We knew that it'd be about 320 some horsepower but we did not know that Infiniti was gonna roll out a hybrid version of the Sedan. This Q50 Sedan uses pretty much the M35 HS Hybrid system. It's a 3.5 liter V6 engine based system. So, it should have some pretty good getup and go as well as decent efficiency. You know, part of the news with this Q50 is the new Infiniti InTouch Infotainment system. That's gonna use dual touchscreens in the dashboard. What Infiniti says it's gonna be an easier sort of interface for drivers to use on the road. There's actually some new driver safety tech in the Sedan as well, including Infiniti's new direct deductive steering system and an Active Lane [unk] that uses cameras to the car in the lane as you drive. Now, this is a 2014 model. So we expect it to be on the road sometime later this year. And whether you like the new Q based naming system or not, you have to admit that this is a pretty sporty looking Sedan. I've been Auntuan Goodwin with CNET.com on the floor at 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
