Infiniti Emerg-E concept Video Transcript
It works for Tesla, why not Infinity? This Infinity Emerged EE concept is built on the underpinnings of a lotus, the Avora. That's a good place to start. It's all mid engined and largely aluminum structure and not just the first mid engined Infinity but also the first exotic sports car they've ever shown in any serious form. Now it's still a concept but notice it's not too far out there. No gull wing doors for example and under the hood it's a range extender powered by 400 horsepower worth of dual electric motors and 700 plus foot pounds of torque. That'll get you to 60 in about 4 seconds. As you drain the battery quickly doing that, a 3 cylinder gas engine lurks in there somewhere to run a generator for a total of 300 miles maximum range. Infinity seems serious about building their own NSX if you will. We'll let you know when and if they decide to follow through.
