>> Hi this is Bonnie Cha senior associate editor at CNET.com and today we're taking a first look at the iMate Jack 3. I'm sure if you're familiar with iMate Jack which is its predecessor, it was pretty bad actually. It was really bulky, but design-wise it's improved a lot. It's really slim as you can see. It looks pretty familiar, it might look like the Samsung Blackjack to you or the Motorola QBlack. On the front there is a touch screen so that is one advantage this has over the other devices and the keyboard is nice and tactile buttons and really bubbly. Easy to use as well as these navigation controls. On the back there is a two mega pixel camera. Photo quality wasn't that great actually. On top there's a micro SD slot but it's really kind of deep in there so to take the card in and out is pretty hard. The smart phone is running Windows Mobile 5 and not the latest Windows Mobile 6 so you get Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, but you don't have advanced editing capabilities. Overall performance is really sluggish on this device and call quality wasn't that great. At launch it's five ninety nine, but I don't think it's really worth the money. You can get a lot better smart phones. I'm Bonnie Cha and this has been the iMate Jack 3. ^M00:01:09 [ Music ]
