-Hello. I'm Luke Westaway for CNET here at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona taking a look at the Huawei Ascend P2. Okay. So, this is a 4.7-inch smartphone. It's got a quad-core 1.5 gigahertz processor on the inside, so it's very fast and that's reflected in how smooth it feels when you start swiping around the screen. If I flip it around, you can see, on the back here, there's a 13-megapixel camera which is obviously quite a high megapixel count for a smartphone, and if you spin it on its side, you can see this phone is quite slim. My impression is, well, as it is very, very light to hold, so it's definitely one of the more portable mobiles that we're seeing at Mobile World Congress this year. It's running on Android version 4.1. That's not the very latest version, but it's pretty close. So, you will, of course, get loads and loads of Android features like access to Google's Play Store, just thousands of apps inside it, and plenty phone screens that you can fill with customizable widgets. Okay, so that's all good, but to be honest, it's a little bit standard. The screen is 720p resolution, so you don't even get the 1080p screen that we're starting to see on some other mobiles. So, what separates the P2 from the pack? Well, Huawei says it is the fastest smartphone ever built and that's because it's capable of a category 4 LTE connection which has a theoretical maximum download speed of 150 megabytes. That is extremely fast, of course, but whether you actually get those kind of speeds will very much depend on your local network data, what your actual networks in your area are offering. So, to be honest, I wouldn't count on getting those kinds of speeds straightaway. Huawei says it's already active in Japan, however. So, hopefully, it will come to the rest of the world soon. Okay, so my first impressions are that this is a tidy little smartphone, it feels very neat and faster. Everything you could want really, but perhaps, a little bit low on things to get excited about. I'm Luke Westaway for CNET here at Mobile World Congress and this is the Huawei Ascend P2.
