HTC One V Video Transcript
Hi, guys. This is Brian Bennett at CTIA Wireless 2012 in New Orleans and right now, we're taking a look at the International HTC 1V Smartphone. As you can see, it is running Android 4.0 which is Ice Cream Sandwich, a (latest?) version of AOS which is brand new. Also, on top of Ice Cream Sandwich is HTC's new version of Sense Version 4, and it's supposed to be a little lighter and not as demanding. But even so, the phone has a... A... It is Qualcomm S3 1 Gigahertz Single Core Processor that seems to be handling the operation relatively well. As you can see, we got the Apps right here, with the basic Apps that come with HTC devices. One big feature is that it is part of the New Image Sent Technology, which has a dedicated processor to process image... Images faster. We also have a wide range of (T-Modes?) and special effects. We've got ACR to handle (disc providing?) and Around-A-Portrait, all that kind of stuff, and unfortunately, the... The camera on to the wanna be, is a 5 Megapixel camera, but you do get a LED flash on the back. So, one of the coolest things about this camera is that it has the Burst Mode capability, which HD calls continuous shooting mode and you could just hold down the shutter button and take multiple shots here. You could see, it's saving them and you have a whole range of shots you can choose, you know, depending on what the action in the scene is. So, that's a really cool feature. Another interesting thing to notice is that the back has... You know, the whole back of the body of the phone is made from a unibody aluminum construction. You feel that deep audio onboard for music processing and specialize profiles for headphones by beat. You also have... You know, basically that this shin here, that rises up, reminiscent of the HTC Legend and even that old school HTC Hero device. The screen is a 3.7 inch super LCD, with a QAC resolution. So, it's not bad. It's a good compromise. I'm Brian Bennett, for CNET.com and we have just taken a first look at the HTC 1V, the International version, which the first time we got to seen it with this software that's running in operational. Hopefully, we'll be coming to US Cellular soon. Still don't know where yet, but definitely stay tune for a full review at CNET.com.

HTC One V Review
The good: The HTC One V's bent chin is a refreshing take on an old design, and its aluminum chassis feels great. The 5-megapixel camera delivers good value for the price.
The bad: The One V's nonremovable battery lasts for about a day, and the single-core 1GHz processor is sluggish.
The bottom line: As the lower-cost cousin to HTC's higher-end One X and One S, the One V won't win the processor speed race, but it comes loaded with a few surprises of its own.
