>> Hi everyone this is Eric Franklin from CNET.com and today we're taking a first look at the HP W-2558 HC. This is a 25.5 inch monitor with a strikingly glossy panel and screen that each turn out to be fingerprint magnets. It has a nice long and flatfoot stand and here's the interesting part when knocked from the sides, although the screen wobbles, the screen itself actually stays put. The screen height is adjustable and the display can easily rotate thanks to the small little kind of button here on the bottom. The panel tilts way back so that it's actually facing straight up. Sill I'm not sure what the practical use of this is but I just thought I'd mention it. The onscreen display features brightness, contrast and color temperature options. Also there are 6 different presets including an SRGB preset. We checked out some movies in HPs movie present and were impressed by its deep lack in vibrant colors. Games look good but we didn't appreciate the HP gaming preset for games as it made the colors look washed out. We prefer it the standard preset for games. The display is however packed with features and here's my best sham wow slap chop guy voice. Check it out. Check it out.

>> You get a built in digital photo frame here that allows you to edit your own slide shows and all this wasn't enough HP throws in 2 built in speakers, bam right on the back, and hey with those speakers you can have a party. Here's how to order. Ok that was like the worst That Guy impression. [ Background music ]
