>> I'm Dan Ackerman here at CES 2008 and we are taking a look at the HP Pavilion TX2000. Now if this guy looks kind of familiar that's because we were standing right here last year looking at the original version of the TX1000. Now this is as convertible tablet laptop and what that means is that you can take the screen and you can flip it around; you can even fold it down and carry this around with you like it's a tablet or you can just use it like a regular laptop. Now most tablets are for industrial use; people use them in hospitals, on industrial sites; some note taking students this is one of the very few consumer tablets out there that's meant for watching movies and listening to music. It's got media control buttons right on the side; it's got this little remote control that pops out and helps you control your music and movies; and one of the big improvement over last year's model is that it now has an active stylus, and what that means is instead of just using the touch sensitive controls and the dummy pen I can write on the screen with this active pen then flip it around and erase what I've written.
