HP Pavilion 27 xi IPS monitor Video Transcript

Hey, guys. This is Eric Franklin from CNET. I'm at CES 2013. I'm taking the first look at the HP Pavilion 27 xi. This is a 27-inch monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution. It has almost edge-to-edge glass. It's definitely edge-to-edge but it has this boarder around it, which keeps it from being really, really, true edge-to-edge as with the Envy 27. It has an IPS screen. Connection options include VGA, DVI and HDMI, and one of the things I really like about this display is that the connections are really easy to access. They face backwards instead of like downwards and they're just really easy. It also includes a feature called HP Enhance Plus. This will enhance video and kinda cut off some of the distortion and noise if you're watching a YouTube video. I didn't actually see this in action but I'm looking forward to getting it into our lab and testing it. The monitor will be available on February for $339 for the 27-inch version. Once again, I'm Eric Franklin and this has been the first look at the HP Pavilion 27 xi.
