HP Pavilion 27 xi IPS monitor Video Transcript
Hey, guys. This is Eric Franklin from CNET. I'm at CES 2013. I'm taking the first look at the HP Pavilion 27 xi. This is a 27-inch monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution. It has almost edge-to-edge glass. It's definitely edge-to-edge but it has this boarder around it, which keeps it from being really, really, true edge-to-edge as with the Envy 27. It has an IPS screen. Connection options include VGA, DVI and HDMI, and one of the things I really like about this display is that the connections are really easy to access. They face backwards instead of like downwards and they're just really easy. It also includes a feature called HP Enhance Plus. This will enhance video and kinda cut off some of the distortion and noise if you're watching a YouTube video. I didn't actually see this in action but I'm looking forward to getting it into our lab and testing it. The monitor will be available on February for $339 for the 27-inch version. Once again, I'm Eric Franklin and this has been the first look at the HP Pavilion 27 xi.
CNET Senior Editor Eric Franklin gets an early look at Samsung's 2011 monitor lineup including its 3D offerings.
At CES 2009, Dan Ackerman takes a look at the HP Pavilion dv2.
HP's latest multimedia system, the Pavilion dm4, is a powerful, slick-looking package--but some competitors in the same price range offer more features for less.
At CES 2007, we take a look at the HP Pavilion tx1000. This laptop converts into a tablet that can be controlled with your fingertips and comes with a nice glossy screen, a remote control, and two headphone jacks.
The HP Pavilion 27xi is a 1,920x1,080 monitor that looks like it's made from sterner stuff than it actually is.
HP's Pavilion p6110y isn't necessarily an offensive system, and its case might even entice you to give it a second look. We just wish HP had taken a more substantive approach to help this desktop stand out. Its FireWire port might sway you, but otherwise you can find more interesting features from other PCs on the shelf.
HP's small-form-factor Pavilion s7500y Slimline is compact andconfigurable, with features such as a TV tuner, but we wish the upgradeoptions included newer, more powerful CPUs.
HP's new digital-media-oriented Pavilion Elite m9040n is fast and loaded with features. Its new looks and newly integrated receivers improve its profile.
From fast performance, to a Blu-ray drive, to plentiful other features, HP's Pavilion Slimline includes almost everything we'd ask for in our ideal living room slim tower PC. It will seem expensive if you're more inclined to a Nettop or a set-top box, but for committed PC media enthusiasts, this HP offers the complete package.
Eric Franklin takes a look at Samsung's first Honeycomb tablet, the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
