How to make money on mobile Video Transcript
I'm Molly Wood from cnet.com with a one minute Molly rants recently wrote about how FaceBook might not ever make money on mobile because the site wasn't born mobile they just don't get it. So I thought that this week cash offer some constructive advice about how sites can make money on mobile I mean somebody's -- figured out we all have the same problem. The only at sites making money right now on mobile. Now my prediction for the future of mobile monetization. If I can walk -- permanent. Is that it will include a pinch of an app buying whether it subscriptions or upgrades or tokens. Then there will be a dash of leaves where companies get paid whenever a user clicks on a local coupon or buys the local deal. And yes of course a healthy helping of advertising. And it's not really Facebook's fault that they aren't making money on mobile because advertisers aren't spending a lot of money there yet. That's a huge opportunity -- once mobile advertising takes off plus a few other creative efforts I think the mobile economy -- are being awesome for everybody. And if not I'm sure the porn people figured out. That's it for this week everyone for more of this rant and others like it go to news.com slash Molly.
