-One of the most useful dog-related apps is Dog Park Finder Plus. The $1.99 app uses your location to dig through its data base of 6000 dog parks to find one close to you and suitable for your needs. This app also has a list of 12,000 dog friendly restaurants. So perfect when you and your best friend are exploring a new neighborhood, city, or state. Dogs are great for motivating their human companions to get more exercise. That's why I like the free app MapMyDOGWALK from the same people who brought us MapMyRide and MapMyRun. This app keeps track of your route and logs your distance and time spent walking. We know dogs shouldn't eat chocolate, but what should we do if they accidently eat it? That's why the $1.99 app Dog First Aid is so handy. Search all elements of your dog's health and you'll find resources right at your fingertips. In San Francisco, I'm Kara Tsuboi, cnet.com for CBS News.
