>> I'm Nicole Lee, Associate editor for CNET.com and this is the Helio Mysto. This is essentially the CDMA version of the Samsung U600. This is as you can see a very slim, very skinny slider phone. The interesting thing about the Helio is still like the U600 is that it has touch sensitive navigation keys. These four buttons are all touch sensitive. The middle circular toggle isn't. So, that's at least one positive with the navigation controls. As far as the keypad, it's also very slim and very flat to the surface. So, we definitely wouldn't recommend dialing by feel. We found texting to be a little difficult because it is so flat and it is a little hard to press. So, as far as features go, there is 2.0-megapixel camera. There's a built-in GPS. There's EV-DO. There's all the typical of Helio features, you know there's Helio Music, you can download music over the air. It's a one-click search access for Wikipedia and Amazon. There's a built-in GPS applications like Garmin Mobil, Google Maps for mobile. So, Helio Mysto has a ton of features. A very slim skinny fashioned for design. We just weren't crazy with the flat keypad and the touch sensitive keys. My name is Nicole Lee and this has been the Helio Mysto. ^M00:01:14 [ Music ]
Though we weren't impressed by its design, the simple Motorola i425 for Boost Mobile offers decent call quality.
Though we weren't impressed by its design, the Motorola V180 is a quality, basic cell phone.
The Helio Heat is a decent affordable alternative to the Drift, but the tradeoffs are high. Even though we were willing to forgive its low-grade speakerphone and lack of microSD card slot due to its lower price tag, the mediocre sound quality and unintuit
The LG F7200 is a good first attempt by Cingular at a PTT phone. Its funky design is great, although we weren't too wild about the button layout. Despite the lack of features, call quality is solid.
The attractive Helio Kickflip offers high-end features, such as a 2-megapixel camera and EV-DO support, and is the better phone of the carrier's two offerings. Unfortunately, it's plagued by the lack of Bluetooth and instant-messaging options; plus, the call quality is subpar.
Though its call quality could be better, the ultralight E316 has some useful features and impressive battery life.
While the Helio Drift may not be as attractive as the Helio Kickflip, the Drift's high-end multimedia features, Bluetooth, and GPS capabilities probably make it the best handset that Helio has to offer.
There's good and bad in the MacBook world this week. More issues hit the unibody line, you can now touch your Firefox, Brian calls "bull" on the Wal-Mart rumor, and sports fans rejoice!
The Eclipse AVN5510 is a car CD/DVD player with DVD navigation. Its navigation system was impressive, but we weren't happy with the video playback capabilities.
The Motorola Krzr K1 for T-Mobile offers good call quality, stylish design, and a decent array of features.
