What's up guys? This is Antuan Goodwin at CNET.com. I'm outside of the Consumer Electronic Show 2012 in a Ford Explorer, demonstrating Telenav Scout. It's basically a daily personal navigator... The first portion of this sort of 3 prong default is an application that runs on an iPhone... Basically here you can search for destinations, discover new places... you can get traffic for home or work... and you can also determine by the term navigation right here on the phone. The second part of this is actually the Scout.me, that you access on a computer. All of the things that you would be able to do here on the app, you can also do on the computer with a bigger screen and a keyboard. Now when you get in your car, it becomes scout for cars. Now basically what that is, is you connect... to the vehicle's dashboard and you get a customer interface that's actually designed to be easier to use in the vehicle, big buttons... and large (checks?) that's easy to see... On your home screen here you've got... your traffic times for home or for work... you can navigate... with turn by turn directions right here using Telenav (great maps?) and navigation software... and also any of those destinations that you store or saved as favorites on the app or at home, you can access right here, as well as searching the web since this is connected on a smart phone. Scout's actually been announced as a partner for Ford Sync app link. They're gonna be... the navigation app of choice for that sort of software integration that Ford's doing right there and also Sony's gonna be taking advantage of this software on their next generation of application enabled car stereos. Directed by Danny Cannon, the film features cameos from the soccer's hottest superstars such as David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Raul, and Newcastle captain Alan Shearer.
