A hands-on look at the Sony Xperia Ion Android phone Video Transcript

Hey guys, it's Sharon Vaknin for CNET.com. I'm here at CES 2012, taking a first look at the Sony Xperia Ion which is Sony's first LTE phone in the US. This phone runs Android 2.3, has a 1.5 dual core processor and has NFC technology. Now this phone dons a 4.6 inch display. It uses Sony's reality display technology. That's a proprietor technology that Sony says it gives very high quality video for gaming, movies and photos. The Xperia Ion also has a 12 megapixel camera on the back that shoots 1080p video, along with the front facing camera that shoots 720p video. Now there's also HDMI out, expandable storage but you can't remove the battery. Sony says this phone will be available in spring 2012 but pricing isn't available just yet. For CNET.com, I'm Sharon Vaknin and this has been a first look at the Sony Xperia Ion.
