Hands-on with the Lenovo K800 Video Transcript
Hey guys. Brian Tong here at ShowStoppers. One of the shows alongside of CES 2012, and what I have in my hand here is the first Intel based mobile phone. This is the Lenovo K800, featuring a 1.6 gigahertz Intel Medfield processor. Now this will be running on a 4.5 inch TFT screen. Also you'll see this kind of like really edgy sharp design that it employs. It'll be running on Android 2.3, that's Gingerbread, and it has this kind of own skin and feel to it that allows you to customize it. These tiles out here on the front kind of like my home screen, it will enable me to hold on them for a moment an then choose kinda what widget whether it's a browser or camera that I wanna use. This phone is also compatible with HSPA plus. So you could use it in a carrier like US, but we're only expecting to see this in China initially. Some of the other multi -media features on this phone are its cameras. Really impressive stuff. On the front side, we have a 720p front facing camera, on the back side, it's an 8 megapixel 1080p camera and another cool feature this allows you with the Intel processor to throw some other content from your phone directly onto a larger TV set. So we're talking about photos and movies. Now we expect to see this phone sometime in the second quarter of 2012 in China but they did not announced any US releases yet. So guys can cross your fingers if you want it but there you have it. This is a first look at the Lenovo K800. The first Intel based processor phone on the market.
