>> I'm Brian Cooley with a very special CNET Top Five coming to you from the LA International Auto Show. It's top five green cars of the year as named by the LA Auto Show and the Green Car Journal. Let's count them down in no particular order, the BMW 335 D Diesel Sedan, Smart 42 Micro Car, Ford Fusion Hybrid Sedan, and the Saturn Vue 2 Mode Hybrid Crossover. Before I reveal the top car, the winner of the Green Car of the Year Award, here are the five main technologies currently in development for tomorrow's backbone of green motor power, hybrid, diesel, plug-in hybrid, electric, and hydrogen fuel cell. EPA rated at 30 city, 41 highway, and with lower EPA air pollution scores than any of its gas engine siblings.
