>> Dan: I'm Dan Ackerman and we're here with the Gateway P7805UFX. Now Gateway started putting out these FX gaming laptops about a year ago they're kind of low-budget entry-level gaming systems that got these 17 inch screens and they pair that with kind of a midline CPU but a high-end video card, in this case the NVIDIA GeForce 9800. Now the previous version of this 7811 that came out in the fall of 2008 was highly sought because it had a very high-resolution screen, the 19 by 12 screen and we always said that we didn't know how Gateway put these things out and still made any money, so it turns out we're probably more right than we thought because the new version, which is still about 1,200 bucks at retail establishments you can get it right off the shelf, has a 14 by 9 screen, the resolution is not quite as high. You know what, for gaming you're still gonna have to dial down the resolution a little bit in order to turn up all the graphic settings on your games so you're probably not gonna notice the difference too much but if you're downloading HD content stuff that's like 1080p content then you're gonna wish you had the bigger 19 by 12 screen. Still for this kind of money you can not get a better gaming laptop right now. You're basically paying for the GeForce 9800 and there's also a nice big 320 GB hard drive at that faster desktop 7200 RPM speed, spins really fast, good for gaming, still it's kind of a shame about the lower resolution screen. I'm Dan Ackerman and that is the Gateway P7805UFX. ^E00:01:30
